The Zillertal Suites enjoy a perfect location only about 200 metres from the Hochzillertal gondola base station. Ski Areas in the Zillertal & Zillertal Superskipass

With the Zillertal Superskipass, you can explore the full variety of ski areas in the Zillertal – from Hochzillertal–Hochfügen and Spieljoch to the Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofen ski areas, and the Hintertux Glacier. The Zillertal Suites are a central starting point for comfortably reaching the different ski areas.

The Zillertal Superskipass can be easily purchased online in advance and also includes free use of public transport throughout the Zillertal. Particularly attractive is the excellent snow reliability with skiing up to 3,250 metres on the Hintertux Glacier, making skiing possible almost all year round.

Winter Holidays in Kaltenbach Away from the Slopes

Besides skiing, winter hiking and snowshoeing, the Zillertal offers many other opportunities for a varied winter holiday in Tyrol. Tobogganing on the many natural toboggan runs in the Zillertal is especially popular. A particular highlight is the floodlit night toboggan run in the Zillertal Arena, with a length of about 7 km – an unforgettable experience for families and friends and also an ideal activity in bad winter weather. Free toboggan runs, such as those at the Goglhof in Fügen and in Hochfügen, provide additional winter fun while helping to keep your holiday budget under control.

Ice skating in Kaltenbach is another great winter activity. The ice rink at the Kaboom leisure centre is within easy walking distance of the Zillertal Suites and is especially popular with families and children.

In addition, the Zillertal offers many other winter activities such as horse-drawn sleigh rides and cross-country skiing, making your winter holiday even more varied.
